Arvada has an old center and a newer northwest grid

Olde Town and the neighborhoods beside it renovate small older houses. Copper and fixtures come out onto streets that are busy on weekends. Schedule around that. The northwest subdivisions are a generation newer: furnaces, a little copper, and builder-era leftovers that are finally being cleaned out of garages.

Junk cars show up on both, usually as a second vehicle that failed during a cold week. Say if it is on a slope. West Arvada starts to feel the foothills.
